Response Interface

Your team only has to learn one interface for coordinating a response to security events. SureView Response is designed to be simple to use, guiding the operator consistently throughout their response, regardless of the type of event. Once an operator picks up an event, all the relevant information they need is already there—event details, action plans, maps, call lists, available guards, and location information. No more jumping back-and-forth looking for information in multiple systems; operators can now coordinate the response from a single-pane-of-glass.

Universal Alarm Queue

A single queue to manage all security events across an organization—whether it’s triggered by a system (e.g. an alarm panel, access control, video, business risk alert, IoT device, etc.) or by a person (e.g. a  mobile officer reporting a medical emergency, an employee who saw something suspicious).

Activity Log

The Activity Log is the single interface for logging all the comings and goings of a security operation. No more manual systems, no more spreadsheets, or using software that was never designed for a security operation. It’s simple to use, security staff can add entries to the log no matter where they are. It’s critical for compliance and ensures nothing ever falls through the cracks.

Mapping

Simple mapping is critical when running a security operation, it gives your team context to respond appropriately so that no matter where your operators are, they can easily pick up an event across the street or across the globe. SureView Response uses familiar Google mapping technologies to help your team be ‘on the spot’ in seconds.

Auditing

Every action of the operator is recorded in the real-time, date-stamped audit trail; and it’s all available in a simple to search-and-review interface.

When an event escalates, operators need to quickly bring the team in to help. SureView Response makes this simple. Operators can instantly call in others to help manage an incident, alert first responders, or update management and key stakeholders on an evolving event— just as if they were in the same room.

Our reporting module provides an interactive interface to analyze the key performance metrics of your team. With a focus on response times, and alarm and event statistics, SureView Reports helps identify areas of your operation that can be improved.

Standards-Based Integration: Alarms

Nearly all security devices send email notifications and alerts. SureView Response receives these notifications and turns them into an event, so that an operator can quickly coordinate the response. Adding new devices is easy and painless, eliminating the need to engage teams in expensive and time-consuming integration projects; ultimately reducing the pressure on security operations.

Standards-Based Integration: Video

SureView Response supports streaming ONVIF and RTSP compliant cameras, providing operators with greater situational awareness when responding to events. Users can view multiple camera streams at once via Media Matrix.

Multi-Factor Authentication

Multi-Factor Authentication is an authentication method that requires the user to provide additional verification beyond their username and password in order to gain access to their account. This is a core component of a strong identity and access management policy. SureView supports common TOTP (Time-Based One-Time-Password) apps such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Last Pass, 1Password, etc.

Integrations utilize the published API or SDK of the manufacturer to develop integration between 2 systems. The SureView Integration Library contains a published list of native integrations. Class 1 covers integration with Cloud Platforms and NVR / DVR video systems.

Integrations: Class 2

Integrations utilize the published API or SDK of the manufacturer to develop integration between 2 systems. The SureView Integration Library contains a published list of native integrations. Class 2 covers integrations with Video Management Systems (VMS)

Integrations: Class 3

Integrations utilize the published API or SDK of the manufacturer to develop integration between 2 systems. The SureView Integration Library contains a published list of native integrations. Class 3 covers integrations with Access Control Systems, Alarm Receivers, and Mass Notification. 

Integration with Enterprise Authentication (SSO, SAML)

This integration allows an organization to integrate SureView with their enterprise authentication system (i.e. Active Directory) to allow users to log-in using their single enterprise login credentials.

API Support

The SureView engineering/development team can provide assistance in using our API to integrate or build workflows with other enterprise business systems used by the organization.

Desktop and Mobile Interface

Field Operations can be accessed via the desktop or mobile interface. Both interfaces provide similar functionality—such as being able to see the current status and location of your team in an instant—but also provide unique functionality tailored to the role of operators in the SOC or teams in the field.

Desktop: Track All Assets In One View

Using a familiar mapping interface, operators in the SOC can quickly see the location and status of all their field assets.

Desktop: Notification Of All Status Change Events

When anyone changes the status of an asset, a notification banner is displayed on the desktop.

Desktop: Update Status Of Any Asset

Operators in the SOC can change the status of an asset and so can mobile-users. This is especially helpful when mobile-users might report a status change using a traditional radio, common when driving.

Desktop: Manually Move Static Assets

Not everything in Field Operations is a person with a phone. You can track any asset such as a vehicle, a principal, a generator, just about anything that’s valuable. An operator can change the location of any static asset just by dragging-n-dropping it on the map.

Mobile: Location Tracking

Simply login to the SureView app and your location is automatically updated so everyone in the team knows exactly where you are and can help you with the response.

Mobile: Raise Security Events

Mobile-users can raise an alarm up to SureView Response so that operators in the SOC can coordinate the response to the event. The types of events that mobile-users can raise are configurable. Mobile-users can attach an image or video and add additional notes to this event to share important information from the scene. To enable these features customer must, of course, have a subscription to SureView Response.

Mobile: Live Video

Mobile-users can stream live cameras directly from their smartphones, providing instant situational awareness.

Mobile: Status Updates

Mobile-users can change their status, providing real-time updates to everyone in their team.

Mobile: Event Sharing

Operators in the SOC using SureView Response can bring mobile users into the event. This action sends a push alert to the user notifying them of a request to join the event. It will share the location and alarm information as well as the audit trail of all actions taken so far.

Mobile: Event Chat

When a Mobile-user is shared on an event they also have the option to chat directly to the responding operator in the SOC using Event Chat. This conversation is tracked in the alarm audit trial.

Escalate Response Events to Cases

SureView Response can be configured to automatically or manually open a record in Cases. This process will automatically create a new record, linking the new cases with the full audit trail of the originating event.

Select Key Entries from Origination Event to Record

For events originating in SureView Response, Cases users can select the entries that are most important to highlight in the new record.

Track Status of Every Security Incident in One View

Every incident, large or small, can be triaged and processed in SureView Cases. These incidents can originate in SureView Response or can be added directly to Cases at any time.

Invite Multiple Collaborators to a Record

When triaging or investigating an event, additional team members may be asked to provide input to the record. It’s simple to invite multiple team members to work on the same record at the same time.

Audit-Trail Of Actions Is On Record

Every action taken by anyone in a record is added to the audit trail of the event.

Promote to A Case With Increased Permissions

Records can be escalated to a Case at any time. This designation applies additional permissions and restrictions to the Case, especially important if the information is sensitive. Based on a workflow, Records can be manually or automatically escalated to a Case.

Attach Media To Records

Attach important images, documents, and videos to any record. There is no limit to the type or number of attached files you can add to a record.

Pre-built Record Templates

Every Cases Plus and Pro account comes with 4 pre-built templates to help teams get started quickly. The templates include an Incident Report, Lost and Found, Asset Management, and a Ticket. These can be used “out-of-the-box” or can be customized for your unique operation.

Create Customized Templates

SureView Cases allows administrators to create their own unique record templates. Templates are used to define what types of information should be captured to describe a particular incident. Templates consist of a set of Fields, Permissions, Actions, and Rules. For instance, administrators can create a Template for a Lost and Found Event and a different template for a Medical Event.

Create Custom Fields

Need to capture a new piece of information for a specific type of incident? No problem! Just create a new field and add it to your custom template. Fields can describe almost anything: date and time, a body or line of text, a number, a data drop-down, even a region on a map.

Create Custom Data Sources

Data sources are used to create lists of commonly used information that are important to add to a record. Examples of data sources could be an Employee Directory, Vehicles List, Security Assets, etc.— the options are almost endless. When added to a template, users will be able to select data directly from these lists.

Schedules allow administrators to create unique workflows that schedule a record to be automatically created and added to the list for completion.

Using triggers and rules, administrators can create comprehensive workflows to automate key business functions.  A trigger can be created on almost any action, for example, completing a field in a record. This activates a rule which can automatically update fields, add team members, send notifications, update other systems, and so on.

To provide operators with immediate situational awareness, SureView automatically connects to the closest live cameras to the alarm or event. Users can view multiple camera streams at once via the interactive Media Matrix.

Ops Link eliminates the complexity of securely connecting your cameras to your SureView account. No need to change firewall rules, open ports, engage in complex IT configurations, everything you need is in the box.
